"Everything went extremely well. I found Grove a completely professional organization with highly skilled workers. Their plumber subcontractor handled the installation of all gas piping in my house, oversaw the hookup with BGE's gas line and installed the hot water heater. Grove provided a skilled crew of 5, with 2 working outside and 3 inside to remove all old equipment, do some duct repair and install the new air conditioner, gas furnace, humidifier and thermostat in 2 days. They also removed all debris from the worksite and swept it clean. Their work proposal included a year's maintenance, which I feel sure will be equally satisfactory. This was a big project (3 days including the plumber), but I am confident they would handle both small and large jobs with the same competence and professionalism. I highly recommend them."

"I called Buric (on advice of friend/neighbor) when A/C wasn't working and I asked what to expect in their charges. The guy on the phone told me they charge a flat $95 (or $99?) for driving out here. So I asked if they charge by the hour or half hour. No, he said, by the job. He couldn't give me an estimate because he didn't know what was wrong. So, a technician came out and diagnosed my unit (which blew air but didn't get cold) as old & dead and needing replacement. So, in my mind, there was really there was no job outside of replacement. In their mind, they did a job by taking 10 minutes to look at the unit and tell me there was nothing to be done for it. So, instead of charging me $99 for coming out, they charged me $230 for coming out AND telling me the unit couldn't be fixed. That irritated me. Then I asked for a bid for new system. The guy went out and talked on the phone to his boss and come back with a written bid. I later compared it with my second bid from another co. Buric's bid was higher than the company I selected, but not enough to sway me if I had liked their way of doing business. However, the previous (over)charge, which was not explained by the guy I spoke to when I first called, left such a bad taste in my mouth I couldn't go with them. So that extra $130 they made cost them around $5000. I hope it was worth it to them. BTW, if I had gone with them, they would have subtracted the $230 from the bid, but I just couldn't get past it. So, I am not saying anything about the quality of their work--it may be just fine, but I don't like the way they did business."

Upon returning from vacation on a 100 degree July day, I found my old HVAC system basically dead (90 degrees in my kitchen!) ... Shane immediately came out to provide an estimate, we signed a contract on the spot, and he kindly provided some freon to hold me over until the new system could be installed. "Misunderstanding between Blue Dot and Baltimore County on the inspection.The unit was not installed according to Baltimore county code. Inspection has failed twice. Unit needs to be 3 feet from connection box. They have come out a couple times since the inspection has failed but the issue has not be resolved. It was clearly explained by Baltimore county what needed to be done. I always initiate the calls with them regarding this issue. I did not feel as if they are taking my situation seriously and I would not work them again. I was not advised I was being charged $75 to pay Baltimore County to inspect the Air Condition install. Promised by Jeff, supposedly, a manager a Rep would be at my house in 20 minutes on 12/17/19, no one showed. Jeff acted confused wanted to take a photo so he could figure out what needed to be done to move an Air Conditioning unit 3 ft from connector. Company trades under Blue Dot HVAC. Richard was very friendly and helpful with accommodating the codes for the County."
